DIRECTIONS TO HONEYMOON COVE RESORT CLEARLAKE PARK, CALIFORNIA

TO RESORT FROM SACRAMENTO - Take Interstate 5 North from Sacramento. Near the town of Williams, approximately 55 miles north of Sacramento, turn left onto Highway 20 West. Stay on Highway 20 for 38.8 miles. Watch for the Highway 53 turnoff toward the town of Clearlake, but do not take it (unless you need to go into town and get food, etc). Instead, continue two miles more and turn left on Sulphur Bank Drive. Follow Sulphur Bank Drive for 3.1 miles, and after you cross over the top of the hill, turn right on North Drive. Follow North Drive for 2.3 miles till it "Y's" into Crestview and Lakeshore. Turn right on Crestview Drive. Stay to the right on Crestview and proceed 3/10 of a mile until you will come to the first paved road on your left that goes down a hill toward the lake. A sign on your left will say "HONEYMOON COVE -- PRIVATE ROAD -- 5 MILE SPEED LIMIT." Proceed down the hill, turning to the left as you get at the bottom, until at the end of the road you run straight into a fence and large sign marked Honeymoon Cove Resort.

TO CLEARLAKE SAFEWAY FROM SACRAMENTO - If you want to drop by the Clearlake Safeway to pick up supplies, go ahead and turn left on Highway 53 (from Highway 20) and head toward the town of Clear Lake. Just as you begin to see signs of civilization, watch for and turn right on Olympic Blvd (Old Highway 53). Safeway is on Olympic at the corner of Burns Valley Road about one and a half miles on the right.

FROM SAFEWAY TO THE RESORT - Make a left turn onto Burns Valley and proceed 2/10 of a mile. Turn left at the Autumn Village Apartment Complex, which will still be on your left-hand side, before you make the left turn. You will still be on Burns Valley. Proceed about 1 mile through a walnut orchard and two 90 degree turns. On your right side, you will pass a new school. This street is now Arrowhead and soon will change to Country Club for several blocks before changing its name to Sulphur Bank Drive. CAUTION: AT THE INTERSECTION OF GOLF CLUB, ARROWHEAD, AND COUNTRY CLUB WHICH FORMS A "Y" INTERSECTION PROCEED TO THE RIGHT OF THE "Y" ON COUNTRY CLUB which will soon become Sulphur Bank Drive.. Watch for a small lake on your right hand side which is called Borax Lake. Proceed up the hill approximately 2-1/2 miles and you will see a street sign that shows North Drive with a arrow pointing left. Turn left and proceed 2-7/10 miles and you will arrive at another .·Y" intersection. You will see several signs stay to the right onto Crestview and proceed 3/10 of a mile and you will come to a road on your left that goes down the hill. A sign on your left will say HONEYMOON COVE PRIVATE ROAD 5 MILE SPEED LIMIT. Proceed down the hill all the way, until you come to a white fence and a large sign marked Honeymoon Cove Resort. You will be greeted by our managers. YOU HAVE ARRIVED AT PARADISE!
